Georgi Dimov, DVM

Dr. Dimov obtained his Masters of Veterinary Science degree and Certificate of Qualification from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Thracian University in Bulgaria in 1997.

After practicing small animal medicine in his home town in Bulgaria, he went on his path of pursuing his dream of exploring the New West. He first immigrated to Canada in 2000 where he acquired his North American Certificate of Qualification and practiced both emergency and general small animal medicine for many years. In 2009, he passed the California Veterinary State Board exam and settled to work in the Bay Area, in the field of canine, feline, and exotic (pocket pet) medicine.

Dr. Dimov likes the challenges of both regular and emergency medical cases. He has a keen interest in diagnostic imaging and surgeries. In his spare time, he loves to travel, play basketball, and read. He is surrounded by his family, including his two kids, supportive wife, and two fluffy cats.
